Collaboration is a key strategy for libraries to build capacity, innovate, and share knowledge. This session shares practical advice from multi-institutional collaborations in research data management (RDM) and stewardship of art research collections. Attendees will build practical skills in originating, operating, and sustaining collaborations through insights and recommendations derived from case studies. RDM case studies include Texas Data Repository; Portage Network; and Data Curation Network; art research case studies include partnerships between Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and Rice University; OCAD University and the Ontario Council of University Libraries; and Worcester Art Museum and College of the Holy Cross.
