More information is always good for professionals. Competitive intelligence is a hot topic among information professionals because today they are increasingly interested in obtaining non-traditional information. As searching for this information has become a daily part of some information professionals' research, higher education have begun to teach this skill to their students. However, many factors influence how to teach this unconventional skill to their students. The presenter will discuss these considerations with the audience and suggest some best practices for teaching competitive intelligence higher education.
