Cyber-attacks on libraries and information content are becoming more prevalent. This panel of librarians and publishers will discuss real-life examples of recent service disruptions caused by cyber-attacks and provide best practice recommendations for cybersecurity collaboration in your workplace. This session will offer practical steps and strategies for combating unauthorized access and threats. Insights will be shared on how to prepare, plan, and protect for the impact of real threats. In the event of threats, your workplace needs to understand how to continue to provide services to users, and what may be required to support staff and teams when cyber-attacks occur. Tips for how to proactively protect against threats will also be shared with attendees. A robust question-and-answer session will also be included.
